Program Design and Management
The program development services provided by Genesis 21staff range
from writing the proposals for funding to overall project management and
analysis.
Examples include:
Bienvivir Senior Health Services-
development of internal marketing
capabilities including enhanced reporting and data analysis systems.
Workforce Solutions Cameron (formerly Cameron Works, Inc.)-
authored
two award winning proposals to establish a small city coalition
throughout the rural region of south Texas. Genesis 21 also managed the
project, completed required reporting, completed extensive asset mapping
of educational institutions and programs, talent development capacity
and connective organizations.
U.S. Army Space and Missile Command- completed a comprehensive study
of the capabilities of the minority-owned businesses in El Paso County
that consisted of reviewing census data and other applicable databases
and conducting a bilingual mail survey, focus groups and personal
interviews with key informants.
El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce-
evaluated the outcomes of the
SBA 7 (j) grant designed to provide technical assistance to minority
business owners as well as promote the HUBZone Empowerment Contracting
Program.
Economic Development Administration', Community Adjustment and
Investment Program- facilitated a national meeting to gather information
from representatives of trade affected communities and generated a
report regarding the economic status of these rural and urban
communities along with strategies and recommendations for renewed
economic development.
Levi Strauss & Co. and Foundation-
developed strategies to invest
dollars toward increasing the capacity and improving the performance of
the economic systems (infrastructure) in the communities that were
affected by its plant closure.
