GENESIS 21 has organized
and managed conferences and events locally, regionally and nationally.
We know first hand that successful meetings, conferences and special
events require thoughtful planning, preparation, execution and
follow-through. Genesis 21's general approach to providing logistical
support emphasizes planning, ongoing communication with conveners and
participants, working within agreed upon financial parameters (budgets)
and developing processes that maximize attendance as well as results.
Sample Projects:

Economic Development Administration- facilitated a national meeting
of trade affected communities to discuss economic re-adjustment
strategies and policies.

The Foundation for El Paso Community
College- facilitated and organized the Foundation's annual meeting
and retreat including securing the venue, organizing social events,
planning and developing strategic planning activities.

El Puente Community Development Corporation- organized an
international meeting of funders, community based groups and grass
roots women's groups to discuss issues and solutions.

Workforce Solutions Cameron- organized and planned "Mapping our
Future Together" a regional economic development summit which
features panels of federal, state and local representatives as well
as small groups and plenary sessions.

Workforce Solutions Upper Rio Grande- organized and designed a
community wide America Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) summit
which included panels with federal, state and local representatives
as well as small groups and plenary sessions.

City of El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Department- coordinated
and facilitated Arts Advocacy in Action meetings to guide artist and
arts organizations in forming an Arts Alliance.
